Ministry Details
Worthy Walk is a weekly Bible study for older children to be discipled through expository preaching, small groups, singing, and fun games. It meets in the Grace Bible Church Activity Center on Thursdays at 6:30 PM during the spring and fall seasons.
The central conviction behind Worthy Walk is that children need verse-by-verse, expository preaching just like adults do—preaching adapted to their vocabulary, pace, and attention, but expository preaching nonetheless. The goal of exposition is first to explain the text of scripture (exposition), then to draw knowledge of God out from the text (theology) and show its implications for daily life (application). Songs, small group questions, and even homework assignments are prepared for the students each week to reinforce the truths they learned and to help apply those truths to the students' lives.
