Thousands...Not Billions: Challenging an Icon of Evolution; Questioning the Age of the Earth

Click here to find a copy of this book.

After an 8-year project completed by seven Ph.D's, comes this exciting book on the age of the earth. Care is taken to explain their scientific findings to the average layman. While challenging the "Billions upon billions of years" approach, they calmly and meticulously lay out why that cannot be so. Their approach to the evolutionary view is respectful, but firm. Lots of charts and graphs back up their findings. Chapter Ten is especially enlightening, as it deals with the veracity of the Genesis account of creation; they even show with a chart how the Genesis account MUST be taken literally, and not figuratively or poetically! This is a very good read, although it can go over the average non-science-oriented person's head in a few places.
